Katie is a licensed massage therapist, reiki practitioner and holistic wellness coach. Her practice is based on three main tenets: evaluating each person as a unique individual, treating the WHOLE person (body, mind & spirit), and remembering that everything is connected.
Katie customizes each massage to the client on the table according to their muscle tension and emotional and energetic needs. It is her passion and gift to hold space for your body, mind and spirit, and facilitate its return to the natural state of healing (homeostasis), beginning with physical relaxation and unwinding the stress in your daily life.
These ideas are supported by Katie’s formal training at Miller-Motte Technical College (massage therapy), Radiant Health Institute (Holistic Lifestyle Coach), and Ashford University (Complementary & Alternative Health). Her core beliefs are rooted in her personal experiences.
Katie uses clean eating, regular physical activity, spiritual practices, and essential oils as tools to support and manage a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Her current focus is using these practices to decrease stress and inflammation, as well as strengthen the immune system using massage therapy as her main tool.
